Problem with shifter..

i noticed that when i jugle my shifter around, it is really loose... do you think i might be low on tranny fluid?? how can i check the fluid?? any suggestions will help thanks

I is probably the bushings in the shifter itself, you can buy replacements from any dealer, they are a pretty common "normal wear and tear" item.

yeah id say bushings too. Plus its an old car anyway so no matter what they need to be replaced will only help.

It's like $7, and super easy to replace (3 10mm bolts hold the shifter in). Feels great when you're done.
