I do not spend a lot of time on this forum but I figured I would post up what we have figured out how to do.

One of our Banzai Racing project cars is a'91 Vert with a Cosmo 13B-RE engine.

We have just completed installing an FD APEXi Power FC using a S5 TII Engine Harness. We only had to change the location of a few wires and add one plug. Besides that, the harness connectors are the same.

Considering that Power FC & Commander are now available new for $680 (http://www.jappartsspecialist.com/Electronic.htm) and it's easier than a MicroTech/Haltech installation... and you get to keep your Oil Metering Pump and A/C!

Only problem I see with doing this is that the ignition circuits on a FD computer is totally different that a FC.

I have a really long story about this but I did install a FD computer in my FC with the Apexi patch harness. The car would try to run but would never run properly.....the fix was send my computer back to Apexi in Japan and have it converted to the FC3S version.
