Need Help. 13b Swap Into 82 Toyota Startlet
Yo whats up. Since i told ya before we put rotaries in anything that moves, even a donkey. We have 510 with rotaries, pick ups with 12a and whateva. So were doing a swap in a startlet and my boys asked if they have a program that has different chassis. He says he was to Half Back his car and was interested in a Ford or chevy 9" rear or 8.8" rear. He also wants to know how to shorten the rear and install a roll cage. This car will only be designed for the strip.
Any info on any of these topics will be widely appreciated.

Buy a starlet al ready made. They have plenty of them around for sale at a good price. Gives you a headstart on all the custom work that needs to be made for the tiny toyota starlet conversion.
jason, ito is giving you good advice. your friend can save thousands and months of time by just buying a starlet that has already been backhalved. if he insists on doing it him self tell him to expect spending like 5K on 4 link, shortened rear and cage. and after that stuff he's just getting started. hes gonna need to make motor mounts, tranny mounts, redo the wireing, ect. for comparason, joe was selling a 3/4 chassis starlet with cage, aluminum dash, pannels, new paint, new slicks, recently rebuilt coilovers, 15 autometer gauges, ect for $3000 a few months ago!!!!!
