Thats why I didn't buy Dragons T70. I figure something a little smaller, IE...T66 would be better on the street anyway and still easily do upwards of 550 to the wheels at 25+ psi. My car will mainly be driven on weekends on the street for fun with occasional track use at higher boost levels.

What do you think IGY?

If you plan on running 18psi up all the time you will benefit from the T70. Under 18psi the T66 will be faster. I think you would probably be happy with either of the 2 turbos. I like the 68-1 it outperforms both to 20psi and then just falls short of the T70 to 25psi. These are all with the same exhaust setup, P trim 1.00-1.15 for side port, 1.15-1.32 for the half bridge.

Why do you guys seem to prefer the p-trim with a large A/R over a Q-trim slightly smaller A/R? Price?

Price is some of it. Another thing is that when you buy a used turbo in Japan it is common for them to have P trim wheels(TO4S, TO4E, TO4R). Lastly, the P trim/big housing works, which is ultimately the best reason.

q trim isnt a garrett part anymore either, its a p trim added onto by turbonetics

Turbonetics used to weld onto P trim wheels to make Qtrim, but they haven't done that for atleast a couple of years. Q trim is definitly it's own wheel now. I don't think it was ever a Garrett part.

I run 4 * 850cc 's and 2 * 1300 cc'c with an aeromotive A1000 , think I will run out of fuel at 25- 28 psi boost with the TA51 (76mm comp. wheel) ?

As for the half bridge , the p trim would be no good above 25psi , you will loose power no matter what a/r housing you are using. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

For christ sake...25 psi with 6000cc of fuel on a t51 half bridge, what more could you want?
