I lost the paperwork to my Profec B. I need to see the hose routing for hookup to an external wastegate. As well as the pin settings for the same.
Can someone post up a pic of the page in the manual that shows this. Or possibly fax it to me @ 772-398-4294 Thanks. FYI - I had a 30PSI spike when the unit was switched off and I am positive I have this sucker plummed in wrong. Your help will not go unapreciated.https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...DIR#>/wink.png |

Pictures don't help me much....I either have to read how or see one in person.
So the Out goes to the Wastegate...top or side? And the In goes to....? Then on the controller itself...it goes to a 3-way and one side goes to the FPR and the other side goes to the upper intake manifold? Is that the same if you have an aftermarket FPR? I am trying to install mine as well, and this is the first time I have ever done an externally wastegated one. Also, where is everyone installing the controller at? In the cubby below the stereo? How do you remove the cubby door thing on the R1 models? Thanks, Scott |
wtf? the vac lines through through the wire wall into the passenger compartment and into the unit?
what if the line poped off u would be screwed |
Yep! I had a hose hooked up wrong. Bigger problem the Downpipe has basically cooked the vac lines going to the wastegate actuator. Time to wrap the downpipe and see if that helps. I am in the process of running all new vac lines. Actually I have a bunch of little projects going on here.
1. I am putting in a stock fan shroud with an electric fan mounted on it. 2. wrapping downpipe 3. all new vac lines on the boost control setup. 4. making sure I hook up vac lines correctly this time https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683358.gif Hope to have this done by Sunday. I might go to an open track day and test her out. |
