I have a rotary miata which I use for both on the street and the tracks. I have a custom 3" straight thru exhaust. What I want to do is put a cut somewhere do the middle of the exhaust and put a v band clamp in that area so that I can have the ease of separating the exhaust. Where can I buy the 3" v band clamp and where can I get the flared ends to weld onto the 3" exhaust pipes.

Turbonetics should carry it also.

Wow, that's steep! 80 bucks for clamp and fanges. Anyone know of a cheaper place? Thanks for the reply.

That's the cheapest you'll find it. I started a thread about a month ago on the same subject.

i got my vband clamp from innovative for like a total of ~60 bucks, 30 something for the clamp and 20 something for the flange. you can buy a 3 inch 2bolt exhaust flange from mazdatrix for 13 and a gasket for it for 7 or so... buy mandrel ubend in mild steel from summit for 22 or so, buy a straight 2 ft peice of 3inch tube from any exhaust shop, and there you go... you have everything you need... then just get it all ceramic coated and you'll be set... down here it runs about 18 dollars a foot

hope this helps
