yes it is, its been done
Just because it's been done doesn't mean ponch94RX7 can do it. Boostn7 probably does a lot of quarter mile track events to get his launches down that good. ONE car out of the countless 400 rwhp FD's out there doesn't mean ponch94RX7 can do it.

Come on man...Boostn7 is one guy out of countless other 400+hp FD owners that did it. That puts him in the upper category of "experienced drivers". For instance, some of us will never be able to play basketball as good as Michael Jordan, so instead we buy his shoes. To run 10's and have ONLY 400 rwhp means you have to be that damn good. It's easier to up your boost and make up for lack of skill(which most of us don't have anyways)

does the relatively large amount of overlap present in our peripheral ported exhaust engines have to do with the use of large turbos for comparably small power #'s?

just shooting an idea out, please don't shoot back. (literally)

You have to be smoking crack. T04E and 500 rwhp don't go in the same sentence unless there's a CAN NOT in the middle.

IF you boosted it to it's max potential(far out of it's efficiency range) they MAYBE(MAYBE) you could reach 500 rwhp.
I'm glad you agree with me. I will say with almost no doubt in my mind the t04e can't make anywhere close to 500rwhp. When I boosted my apexi over 20psi....i'm talking hitting 22-24psi it felt the same there as it did at 18psi. Those turbos are very close in size and only have so much power to give. On the otherhand, my t62-1 at 18psi was so unreal I can't imagine it in the 20psi range. Had awsome low end power too.

Well, we run larger hotside housing comparably b/c of the increased energy & high EGTs our motor produces. Is that what you're asking?

I wasn't aware that we were making lower power numbers for the same frame compressor? I was just talking to someone the other day who saw a Neon SRT-4 dynoed with a gt30/40 and it made 500hp@25+ psi and on a 12:1 AFR according to the guy I talked to.

I have always been under the impression that KKK is synonomous with old technology.

Is that not the case?

Sorry, this is sorta on-topic!
