hey guys i was just wondering what spark plugs you guys use with your single turbo kit. i need to get somenew ones and i cant get them anywhere. its like a special order part everywhere i go. and thats if they even have a rotary specific plug in their database. anyways just some part numbers and where you got them from and how much you paid would be really helpful.

thanks

you want at least ngk 9's all around. If you are going to run 15 psi or more get 10.5 race plugs.

is higher number colder? or hotter? and why would running non stock ones be better? colder = less detonation?

sorry i forgot to mention that i have ngks 9's now, but i am having the hardest time trying to get more. so i was looking for different part numbers so that i could get a similar plug at the local autostore. i have the hks twinpower and magnacor wires. also i am running 13psi for the moment but would like to run more boost once i work out all the bugs with the new turbo kit. how much for the hks plugs. i thought they were like $30 a piece. thats kinda steep for something i gotta get replaced pretty often. maybe if you did like a group buy on them and we got it for DIRT cheap then i would be willing to pay more for them. at best 2 times the amount that a ngk cost. the reason for posting was i just need new plugs and i cant get them anytime soon as all the stores claim that they are on back order.

I was using NGK 9's--non-platinum--when I was running a T-78 at 18 PSI every day. They worked fine for me, and they're only 4 or 5 dollars each.
