what fuel pump do you run, i was thinking about going with the walbro 255 ltr/hr, wondering if anyone else was using that? would that be enough fuel for a to4r?

I run dual stock Fd pumps. I'm about to go to dual walboro pumps. A single walboro should be enough fuel, but I don't own a t-04R so I wouldn't know.

here's another option to consider...........

running a much larger pump tends to over cycle fuel to the rail and back to the tank. the fuel gets heated in the process. hot fuel has less bang per volume. i run a cosmo pump which with my cars mods would be on the ragged edge of deliverability. after considering an upgrade to a Bosch or similar pump i decided on another option. i bought a Kenne-Bell Boost A Pump. as soon as i go to boost the Boost A Pump juices the electrical voltage to my pump. adjustable from zero to 50% gain. no over pumping fuel and all the fuel i need when i need it. MSD also makes a similar item. Kenne Bell has an excellent website explaining the engineering. my unit is in the rear passengerside compartment near my battery. the unit has a pressure sensative solenoid that fits near the motor and sends an electrical signal when you achieve positive boost. $200

Then I guess the big question would be, does the little pump overworking itself make more heat than the big pump that isn't working very hard cycling more fuel through the system? Hhhhhmmmmmm.

Am I to understand that you have pressurized fuel lines running into the passenger compartment of the vehicle? Next to the battery no less!

To me that seams like a big no no!

But I guess it is your car.

Little advise carry a easily accessible combustible fuels fire extinguisher.

Boost A Pump clarification.

the (electrical control) unit, alone, resides near my battery in the rear passenger package compartment. fuel lines remain untouched.

as to Igy's point... a reasonable consideration however the voltage gain is adjustible from zero to 50% and since my pump is close to deliverying at it's normal voltage and only gets more (modest) gain under boost it is my opinion that less heat is added to the fuel than a significantly larger pump that runs full blast when the oem circuit switches off the OEM resistor circuit. compared to, say, the Bosch pump i have gain adjustment. check out the Kenne Bell website. BTW, i have no financial relationship w Kenne Bell.
