I was thinking of going with a Tial blow off valve and wastgate with a T04-E turbo. I was informed, however, that the tial blow-off valve needs like 20 psi to work right. What do you guys think about this. What do you think would be the best setup. ofr such a turbo? By the way, i was thinking a 38 mm wastegate would do fine.

20 psi? Unless it comes factory like that, (which I doubt) I wouldn't buy it. Find a tial website that can tell you what boost it runs off of stock i.e. just the wastegate spring)

One of my friends said that the tial blow off valve is no good for under 20 psi. He doesn't know that much about cars though. He just reads up on a lot of **** with no real experience.

I am using both TIAL bov and wastegates and I am totallu satisfied with them ( qualitu and function) , that thing about it being no good below 20 psi is total CRAP , I have no problems with mine running 15 psi boost , when the BOV opens I makes a nice sound , not too loud and "RICEY" and not too quiet . You would have to let them know that you want it for a rotary though , so that they put in the "soft " spring , the vacuum in my intake manifold is 9-10 " H2O and it stays closed , don't know what would happen at stock 15 " though.
