Ok, my goal for my next fd is, 420-450whp. i have been debating between either the T-78 kit, or the GT 35/40. i know that the GT 35/40 is supposed to spool faster, which is what i want. but im wondering which turbo actually can hit my goal hp, with the least amount of effort, and if this can be done on a stock motor with a fresh rebuild. i know what all i'll need to support that kind of power motor wise, but i also want to know what drivetrain mods will be needed to support this amount of whp. my car will be daily driven, so im probably looking at something like 380whp on low boost and 400+ on higher boost setting. but im clueless as to what parts i need as far as axles, diff, ppf, driveshaft, and so on. i know what clutch i need to use, just dont know what parts of the others listed actually need to be changed out in order to support 400-450whp on higher boost. any help is appreciated. thanks alot..

for the street a GT35/40 is very good. ihor made 470rwhp @ 19psi on his with a street ported engine, fmic, etc. i made 416rwhp @ 13psi but my T78 is a bit laggier than his. the HKS T04R is also a very good turbo system. flows alot and is not laggy at all !

Any of the turbo's Vosko listed will work. I would suggest the gt35/40 since it spools up so fast, perfect for your street application. As far as axles, diff, ppf, driveshaft go, you should be ok if your not drag racing a lot or running slicks.....very abusiving driving that requires heavy duty parts. Not to say you won't encounter broken parts, but I wouldn't worry about it too much. If its not broken don't fix it, and when something does break then upgrade to something heavy duty.

my problem is.. i abuse my cars.. alot.. haha i try not to do it... but it never fails... there is some pretty quick cars down here in houston, and saturday nights... im out running with em. i cant stop at a light without someone wanting to race me. and i dont back down, even if i know ill lose.. haha im just retarded like that. thats why i say... should i upgrade parts, and save me some time. or just wait till something breaks? normally during the week, i wont drive the car much, just to work, which is like 5 mins down the freeway from my house. thanks for the imput guys.. im leaning more towards the GT 35/40 kit... looks so nice! does anyone have pictures of this kit on their car? what kind of hp figures would i be looking at around 15psi?

Someone has already made 430rwhp @ 15psi with the gt35/40. If you have the money and don't mind spending it all in one shot, by all means go ahead and upgrade all your stuff now.

Haha, thats kinda funny. 'not only does vosko break in his motor during the first 1500 miles but he also breaks everything else on the car' Well i've been lucky so far and haven't broken any of that stuff, although i'm easy on the car and once I finally get my new turbo installed its may be a different story.
