Get a power inverter, I got one at menards for 29 bucks. It's invaluable if it keeps your laptop alive while tuning. If it stumbles you have some tuning to do for sure, that was my problem a few weeks ago before I got my hands on a WBo2 meter. I think I've gained about 350hp since tuning, not kidding. Before, it was so rich once it would hit the staging bar it would be like I shut the engine off! If you don't have a WBo2 meter get one or rent one. You will not regret it. Also make sure your timing is zeored in right.

Where were you on sat night? I was up on university with my car looking for ya. I taked to your buddy with the red S-10, he checked out my buds V-8 FC and my turbo FB. I drove by the target parking lot later on at night and didn't see any cars. Maybe I was there too early?
How much power is your RE setup good for with that monster turbo setzep? You need to dyno it after break-in.Remember tuning is the key with standalone.

Found 3 vacuum caps blown off, they are zipped tied now.. Fpr was not seeing vacuum, fixed. Replaced bad hose clamp..Waiting on new primary grommets and lim/uim gasket. Should fix all vacuum/boost leaks. Still laggy, still runnich rich and still have the transiation problem. Must save for dyno time!

Bah... tune it on the road you will get a lot better tune into it that way. Your intake air temps will soar on a dyno. If you tune on the road bring along a competent person that knows how to adjust the maps (not that kenny guy, hehe j/k). One hour with my friend and I turned my car into a monster. Before I had no idea what it was running at (afr's) then when I hooked up the WBo2 meter it was all clear as day what I had to do. I ended up taking a TON of fuel out to get the AFR where I wanted. I bet I gained 350hp in that hour of tuning.

Oh yeah, who said you get a ride If everything goes right I'll try to make it up to university tomorrow night.

Racer X- the car is very happy, I'm dead even with my buds 486bhp V-8 FC. I had no need to break in the engine, it's a used j-spec. Yes tuning is EVERYTHING when it comes to making power reliably.

I rented one from a friend for 5 days. It's local made I think, Proms +. It had a analog gauge and a 0-5v output. Uses the NTK L1H1 sensor like many other WB meters.
