My damn n/a was faster than my t2 @ 10psi. Could my car not being tuned take away that much power????

And not only that is laggier than an SOB, come on around 4k!

I have a slight vacuum leak at idle, timing is not really zeroed, cuz it won't idle right, so when i try to look at the pulley with a timing light, the marks jump around It looks like its zeroed in @ tdc, s/b 5deg btdc..

Ontop of that damn turbo needs a rebuild, was suppose to be NEW.

Godamn this thing. And im broke, and in debt.

If you lock your timing is should stay pretty solid no mater how your engine is running. I have a little variance at idle but once it's reved a little past idle it smooths out. You should be locking your timing on the haltech to -5 and putting the timing light on one of the leading wires (doesn't matter wich one). With the timing locked at -5 you should go and adjust your trigger angle untill the light lines up with the yellow mark on the pulley (the one that is closest to the drivers side when marks are up). I set my CAS in my engine using the HITman method and have the locknut about in the center and my trigger angle is set to 49.

Idle ms is about ~2.6 with 550cc primary injectors ( I have my Ign/By set to 2 so the value I put in my computer is ~1.3ms)

give that a whirl and see if it runs any better at idle.

Oh yeah I have my timing at 5btdc at idle and runs smooth with BUR9EQ's in all four holes.

Good luck!

Oh yeah, what injector setup do you have? If you have the 550/1680 I'd say your running too rich when looking at your datalog on the other page.

those 1680's deliver dome serious fuel forsure... You have an ignition MAP/timing issue... I don't know Hal's to well but the function on most stand alones are simular.... I'd contact the HITMAN, my buddy had him get his running over the phone which was cool.. Your turbo may not be new but probably isn't the problem... What IC are you running? At one point I had a crappy FMIC with stock turbo and the lag was dreadful, so you maybe experiencing lag from an old turbo and an IC that has a severe pressure drop.

Let me know

I have the stock IC, so lag should be Zilch. Checked wg today, works perfectly, so does boost controller...

Ran car with no catback, it was faster but the boost does not come on faster, or so it seems....Damn laptop ran out of batteries, redo tommorrow...

its got some serious tuning tho, when boost comes on it stumbles.. datalogs show huge jump in inj ms then it goes back down..

Get a power inverter, I got one at menards for 29 bucks. It's invaluable if it keeps your laptop alive while tuning. If it stumbles you have some tuning to do for sure, that was my problem a few weeks ago before I got my hands on a WBo2 meter. I think I've gained about 350hp since tuning, not kidding. Before, it was so rich once it would hit the staging bar it would be like I shut the engine off! If you don't have a WBo2 meter get one or rent one. You will not regret it. Also make sure your timing is zeored in right.

Where were you on sat night? I was up on university with my car looking for ya. I taked to your buddy with the red S-10, he checked out my buds V-8 FC and my turbo FB. I drove by the target parking lot later on at night and didn't see any cars. Maybe I was there too early?

I ran the car with the wg unplugged, so it was shut the whole time, boost still comes on late as hell.. I orderd the right primary injector grommets and new gaskets for uim/lim... I also swapped a normal main pulley on, no more undrive BS..
