When I purchase my FD it had a single turbo in it.

Doing some research found out what kind of turbo it is.

It is off of a 86-87 gnx.

Currently the car does not have any aftermarket piggyback or stand alone and I would like to get the apexi PFC. Question is what would this turbo equivalent too? t4/t3? to4b?....

I get 10psi@ 4200-4500rpm

current mods:

pfs smic

greddy pulley

mid pipe

FCD

Any help is greatly appreciated,

thanks

don't have a digicam, sorry.

this site have a picture of the turbo.

The turbo itself the way it is placed in the car is directly perpendicular to the engine. I don't have the airpump though.

I think the turbo is small enough like a t4 that the location of the turbo itself does not require a manifold that extends towards the front bumper.

hope this helps a little.

Thanks for the interest vosko.

Yup its a GN turbo! I talked to the shop that custom made it. They said it is the upgrade version...all they say that it is good for up to 500 hp.

Don't have a digicam, I'll try to ask around and get it sometime....

I don't want to play the HP games just want the car to run reliably, need an ecu.

Trust me there is nothing fancy about this custom job. The manifold is made of mild steel tubing, pretty thick. short runners though. Inernal wastegate.

any idea as to what to compare this turbo to?

No idea.

PFC should work fine though. It doesn't care what is bolted to the motor

Thanks 93R1

So I could buy the pfc, install it, run the base maps 'till I get it tuned?

Right now it is running @10psi.

500hp on a big V6 like whats in the GN, but not on a rotory. That turbo is tiny. You'd be pressed making more power than stock twins on that. It looks smaller than a T04E which is tiny, especially the compressor.
