If it's a primary drag racing, then don't bother!
The screen is more bother than it's worth. I've seen screens *sucked* into the turbo - it's not pretty! If you're going to risk killing your turbo, you might as well not run anything in front... -Ted |
id be tempted to build an air box, maybe kinda like the fd arc ones, where you can have a couple of panel filters
|
where...

you wouldnt have a problem if you just rerouted that rad. hose. at least thats what it looks like from here
|
put a tube on the bottom turbo and put the filter way up front! think 4th demensionally!

About the rad hose,
I have a thermo housing with a male fitting welded on, and I am going to weld another fitting onto the top radiator inlet, and run a SS hose. That way i can make thoes tight bends with -12 270 radius fittings. When i get the money. |

I made mine and still have a big roll of the screen for about $10. Its not blue though, and mine is a little bit finer mesh. |
When I first saw the pic of the space you have, the first thought that came to mind was why not relocate the rad hose. Re-route the inlet on the rad, that in my estimation would be easier.
|
can the rad lean forward a lil more? whats about a custom rad with the upper rad hose on the other end? seems like nothing will get on the hose's way.
