The 'E' series compressor wheels and compressor housings are more efficent especialy in the 15psi plus range. The 'E' wheels are 6-blade vs 7-blade for the 'B'.

The 60 and 62-1 are considered To4-b's but are in a class by them selves. There is a 63-1 turbo that have a 63mm/6-blade compressor wheel.
I know, I know! I'm just having a little fun. So this means the 67-1 (7 blades) is a "b" also.

I dunno, the last owner says theres damage to the compressor wheel but I don't really see it...the turbo looks really great to me

if I got really close up pics of it could you see if its fine?

I know the compressor housing is cracked at the top but that can easily be welded maybe thats what he was talking about

I have no use for it ive already got a single myself

Snook-hehe

If we are talking KITS the T04E has my vote by far. I dont even think you can buy a B kit anywhere.

Piece it together.

I think the B runs a lot like a TD06-18G from driving similiar cars (I THIN), it just seems to run out of breath towards the end, hell even the E starts to on my FD around 8500-9000rpm I hauling as your going sideways at this time, so its just an estimate hehe

GRANTED as mentioned before so many varietes for each of these turbos, but im talking the ones that are common, NOT Made in the garage or one made for a Tractor or some *****, im talking straight from Garrett or HKS, etc....
