On the freeway, I (GT35/40) put the smack down on the local T78's. Instant spool and I pull a car on them...then they never catch back up...Nice for when racing Vipers and other Torque beasts as they don't get a chance to "get away" while you are waiting for the T78 to spool.

Ran a '99 Viper GTS several times a few weeks ago and pulled on him instantly every run, then kept on pulling and pulling and pulling...https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png (and that was only running 15.5psi)

Holy ****! hey nocab what are your et's with your new engine and what not. what tires u got?

My encounters with vipers have been similar. I instantly gain a car on them and them keep pulling.

Actually for A LOT less money the stock twins will plant you in the mid 11's lol

Why do you need a $4K single if you only want to hit 11's

STEPHEN

Yup, plenty of people have done 11's in an FD with stock twins. The big single, however, will give you quite a bit more high end power on the higway. The T-78 makes great power at 14-15 PSI, but it really start to come alive as you approach and go beyond 20 PSI. ask my friend: he tried 30 PSI with it. :smirk:
