Think I Can Use This As A Wategate Solinoid?

opinions please, the odds of me finding an acv-r or pfc valve are pretty slim, but I did come across this....

Interesting. Wonder if the pfc will be able to controll it though? I think the best thing to do is to get a seperate boost controler. I never did like how the pfc controlled boost.

Check to see how much amps it draws or else you may have to use a relay to switch it. Also, check to see how much air can flow through it and how much heat it can handle. It gets pretty hot under the hood. For $7 it's worth a try.

I got a bunch of Delphi solenoid valves off of Ebay too pretty cheap but I have to switch with a relay.

no, basically any solenoid should work.

LOL I know, well I bought one, we'll see what happens. considering it's small size, I doubt it has much current draw, but I'll test that before I put it in the car. worse case I wasted about $8
