Did you know you can fit 4 tires inside an RX7? I didn't think it was possible.

I am mounting them in the a.m.

I used to regularly fit 4 tires, 3-ton jack, and tool box in the 7. They were 15" wheels, however.

Car sounds awesome!

4 screws!! 4 Screws!! thats all it takes to change out the diaphragm. Its easy to get them off, real easy, then the huge spring inside is set free, then you have to push the cover back on against to pressure of the spring, keep the holes on the diaphragm lined up and the cover holes lined up, then with your 3rd hard screw in the damn screws!! Oh and I forgot to say that your under the car doing this, with the downpipe for the exhaust running about 10 millimeters away and doing all it can to get in the way. There is no room to work as well and no real way to get leverage.

A quality C-clamp makes that job a snap Jim.

So your mechanic checked out your video on the internet and told you to check out the diaphragm? Or did he hear about it through the rumor mill? I know you're a pretty popular guy, so I wouldn't doubt that happening.

No 13B Starlet and I know each other we are both local. He is having a alcohol engine built at the same shop I had my engine built at. Plus there are a few local guys around here that lurk on NP but do not post and report my every move to my Mechanic / friend, JR.

When I posted the video I wondered if word would beat me to him about my pulls, the engine was just broken in and I knew JR was worried I was going to beat on it too soon and blow it.

I need to get some stop to 110 MPH pulls on tape. Its running great at WOT but still needs some cleaning up of the maps at mid throttle.

I am heading to Ft. Lauderdale for an Autocross this weekend I'll get some footage.
