Why not try a custom T-72 BB. Have the rest of the kit built for You? the total cost for my setup is about 2700.00 with oil lines and plates but no intake. No problems with fitment also.

Yep $4500.00 is about the cheapest you're going to find a T51 kit for. You may even want to weigh if you can accomplish your goals with a different/cheaper turbo kit. Sure it's nice to have the HKS T51 name but if you can save 1k and accomplish your goals hp wise then it might be worth it. If you have any fabrication skills then the making your own kit idea would be your best bet to get something similar for cheap. The T72BB sounds like a great idea.

Yeah that true, it takes more time and ability, but looks the same and cost less when your done. I just hate that you have to pay so much more for a name, doesn't make any sense to me. I just bought 2 brand new racing seats with brackets for $509.65, which are the exact same thing as sparco torino's that cost $600 a seat with no brackets. For $4500 they should throw in a spare turbo or something.

I agree and I was even going to say you might be able to accomplish your goals with a t88 kit which I believe is a little under 1k cheaper than the t51. Many people like the t51 for it's jet turbine sound though.
