SSAutoCrap Mani. cracked!

Those chinese cheap manifolds have bend on bend , very tight , very stressed , wall thickness greatly reduced , rubbish welds , poor workmanship. Some japaneses manifolds are not much better , for looks they polish off welds , asking for trouble. Ive welded up plenty of cracked jap manifolds. Wrapping manifolds can also cause problems. The best material for exhaust manifolds is 2205 grade stainless steel , unfortunately it costs about 4times more than 304.
If you need a quality manifold i can make you one in 304 or 2205 2.8mm wall thickness with no reduction in wall thickness around bends 51mm id. Unfortunately i am in New Zealand , the other side of the world! But have a paypal a/c and can ship if you cant find a quality manifold anywhere. The exchange rate is favorable for US but has been better. Price would be $950 NZ + freight.

hell your ahead of the game with the ssautocrap manifold. i have one that i use as a paper weight because it does not even fit my motor. its a fd manifold that i tried to use with a re motor in a fc body,,,,,,,, the waist gate flange is so low that my waist gate would have almost hit the ground it seamed but the main reason was the turbo wouldnt bolt up because the exhaust housing wouldnt line up close to the holes on the flange and it was hitin the intake manifold.
what a nice looking expencive paper weight.

mine is like that too. they drilled and tapped the hole on the flange, then welded it on the manifold, which warped it, then they ground the gasket flange flat, but the bolt holes are all at weird angles
