Ok I'm a long way away from upgrading my turbo, but I've been looking around, checking prices, ect. Well SR Motorsports Sells....

SR 1987-1991 Turbo Upgrade

Upgraded turbo for your 1987-91 Turbo II. This turbo has a larger compressor which flows 25% more air. Fully built with new parts. Bolts in exact like the stock turbo.
The price is $769. It says it "flows" 25% more air, does this mean you will reach full boost sooner, or does this mean that the maximum output (psi) is 25% higher? Would I be better going with a T04? Or a T04 kit from HKS? Keep in mind I'm new to turbos. I'm not looking to be putting out 500+ hp, I just want a car I car go beat up on the vettes with.

Please post some good links for place to buy turbos too. Thanks!

It just means that the turbo will flow 25% more CFM. So that should give you about 25% more HP. I believe that their upgrade is similar to what Turbonetics and MIC turbo would do. With alot of mods that turbo could probably push 300-350 HP at the flywheel.

Well I only want to have to buy 1 turbo, so do you think I'd just be better off going with a T04? I like the HKS kit, and the Blitz kit. Have you used either?

The HKS TO4 kit is supposed to be very good. The good thing about the TO4 family is that if you ever want to upgrade anything it's very simple. Instead of changing the whole turbo you can just swap out housings, wheels, etc.

I like all of th stuff that is included with the blitz kit. Looks like they even give you new pulleys, better manifold, DP, air filter, ect. Seems like it is worth the extra $1100 (kit price $3869 vs HKS kit at $2599).

What kind of turbo comes with that kit? It's definitely more comprehensive. If you want BIG power then you'll need something like that.
