yes just for ***** and giggles... maybe someone might need to use the info one day,

well i placed the order for the dynatech high flow cat. from rpmoutlet.com

i actually ended up putting in the discount code 1212 (10%discount) twice and the price dropped by about 28 dollars... not really sure if they'll catch on to it.. but we'll see.

maybe by measuring the flow he can prove that you can be somewhat considerate of the enviroment and still have your performance.

[quote name='FikseRxSeven' date='Apr 4 2005, 05:11 PM']well first of all, i gotta get the high flow cat, if you can get the flow meter that would be great...

i plan on measuring the flow of:

-high flow cat

-resonator

-racing beat dual

-treceb's exhaust

-straight pipe 3"

-high flow cat w/resonator

-3.75" greddy resonated midpipe

- ^ with high flow cat

and thats all i can think of

But does a metal cat mean no more flames as well?

I'll post some pics of the Random cat soon (tonight maybe if I get a chance). The casing is certainly different than the Dynatech, but I still don't know if the guts are really any different.

The guts look a bit like the stock precat, eh? I'm not too worried, though -- these metal cats are supposed to hold up better than the ceramic N-Tech high flow I have used for a while without any trouble.

Pics!

The first one shows the little guy with his new friend (soon to be enemy?) my R85 turbo. The turbine housing is out getting coated. I haven't compared the substrate pics very carefully yet, but my first impression is that they really do look similar. Anyone want to count some rings?
