Single turbo - less stress of having to deal with the damn seq. twins and all those damn vacuum hoses. then of there's more power too. I'm going single to cut down on a big chunk of heat under the hood and less vacuum hoses. (a little more hp too)

disadvantage - upfront money and wrench time. Then again, you'll save in the long run if you go ahead and get one.

As far as the best 7, a little more info would be nice. Are you wanting a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen? As far as 3rd gens, I'd get a 94 or 95 before a 93 if you can afford it. It really depends what options you want from there. If you don't want a sun roof, get an R1/R2. I got the sun roof so I got a PEP model (pretty close to a touring) It's all basically personnal preference. Hope this helped...

Happy hunting!

Thx guys

and by my screen name it should be obvious which gen I want

twins spool faster thugh, thats the one advantage over single.

PS:

someone (i think jspecracer7) mentioned a while ago that their single setup may take longer to spool but at lower rotations it pushes more air then a smaller one that has already spooled. Basicaly single achives greater presure at lower rotations. Now I myself dont have the experience to say weather that is true or not but if it is then there is NO advantages that a twin setup has over single.

Is it true jspecracer7?

Now that I switched to a 0.81 from a 0.96 hot-side on the T66P, I have no lag and a wild amount of power at least as instant as the seq.'s if not more so. As the stock turbos age and wear out, it only makes sense to go single for big gains in power and ease of maintenance for the essentially same cost. I would never go back to the seq. stockers although I have driven and do like the no-seq. with simplification and clean-up.
