35/40, t-60, t04, etc. All these should make a decent amount of power without too much lag. With the t series, you can always play around withm a/r's to get the best combination of spool time vs power.

After tuning Vosko's FD with a T78, my car was way laggy with my 60-1. The turbo spooled up fast and power was strong thru gear changes.

My T66P 0.96 is getting a 0.81 undivided. I want down-low spice. A street-port stock twins was beating me off the line. Still stayin' at 16 psi. I have a street-port w/ 3 mm seals on the way.
