Reman With Single

I have further investigated the matter and decided to go with a reman. Here are my deciding criteria for choosing a rebuild.
*it is relatively cheep at two thousand dollars
*I have heard of numerous problems with "built" engines lately and with the mods I have, most will not give me a warranty
*I will have plenty of money to do other mods (polyurethane motor mounts, get a new bumper, suspension, datalogit...)
*I will feel very secure with a warranty
*won't have to opt for new housings (most of the aftermarket "listed" prices don't include new housings, that is ridiculous, each seal has its own wear signature and not having new housings will encounter difficulties with this problem)
*my turbo is very good for stock ports and its efficiency range is within what a reman can handle
*what ever I lose without porting I can make up in boost
*the oil mods are really not that important with my demands and I'll have enough money to replace the stock oil cooler with a mocar or something like it to make up for all of the "extra cooling" capacity with a bigger cooler
Well, I guess I can rest now and call Malloy tomorrow...well...one more thing...do they need a core for exchange if I go with a rebuild from Malloy?
