Hi,

I'm trying to rebuild the stock S5 turbocharger, and I have it tore down except I can't get the turbine wheel and shaft out of the turbine housing

Is there a trick to it?? or am I just being a dumb *** ..???

I got it!! It was just a stuck heat shield... I didnt want to pry or hammer the turbine wheel trying to get it out... This is the first time rebuilding a turbo, so I didnt wanna mess anything up...

Since I had it apart I went ahead and Ported the stock wastegates...

Then I found this cool little exhaust/Wastegate Modification ...

I like the turbine wheel inner sheath that blocks off the old wastegate passage...
