Doesn't the sensor burn out pretty fast? And are pretty expensive to replace? I've heard this is the only disadvantage of running a wideband on the street.

ok, vosko post the weekend rental rates for the wideband.

I'm first in line!

seriously, as soon as i buy the rest of my gauges, thats my next purchase.

as for the sensor burning out, you only need the wideband hooked up while tuning. tune the car with a nice saftey margin to account for inconsistancies in pump gas quality, and replace the O2 sensor with a bolt, till you need to re-tune for diffrent boost/mods in the future. thats what everybody i know does with thier FJO's.

group buy anybody??

Spend a few hours on the dyno and you paid for the FJO. Not to mention it's a helluva lot cheaper than a new motor.

Tuning will be better too since it's real-world loading... not dyno loading.

I promise once you get it you'll wonder how you ever drove without one.

I may be trying a DIY wideband with Dragon's help. He's going to test it out and if it turns out good, I'm sure we'll post results.

JIM, that supra of yours looks STUNNING :bigok:
