I was told to run oil thats "lighter" than the 20 / 50 I am using now , something like a 5W 30 or a 20W 40 oil to prevent my oil pressure from going too high and leaking out the back of my turbo (supplier said the turbo WILL leak at 105+ psi oil pressure) , I now run 9000rpm @ 15psi boost and would like to get up to 10,500 rpm @ 25- 28 psi boost , what do you guys think?.

Just run 20w50 and make sure you have the proper size oil restrictor in your turbo inlet line.

I've always run 15W30 Mobil 1 super synthetic. Anyone see a problem with the weight I've been using. If you do, please speak up so that I'll know better next time! Thanks in advance.

20w50 works best in my experience. The 10w30 is too thin for a modded car and should only be used in the winter when it is really cold. That and the fact that our cars like to dilute and thin out the oil with gas...
