i am piecing together my own kit using the obx manifold and a TO4S turbo, just wondering what you guys use for a restriction in the feed line, if any? that is really the only thing i am not sure of, thanks

 

You want you supply line and drain lines to be as un-kinked as possible. always have a good flowing supply of oil.

 

You don't want your feed line to be larger than 3an, or you can get oil blow by. 10an would work fine for the return line.

sorry if this is confusing, i am doing the turbo kit, i was on apexkw's name when i posted,



anway just wondering cause i know on apexkw's rx6 kit they included a special fitting to restrict the oil... thats the one that took like 4 months to get... but if 3 AN is all i need more power to me!

 

Ahh yeah thats right!! I had the rx6 kit and they had a restrition on the oil feed line....very small and probably oil restriction overkill. I am using 3an, pretty sure everyone else does too. I don't have any special restriction on the fitting that screws into the oil feed flange on the turbo, i'd guess its about 3 times larger of an opening than the apexi restriction.
