Who ever did make that manifold is one bad *** dude. My hat is off to him/her.

My uncle has been in the turbocharging business since the early 70s.

Here are the dimensions of the FD unit that is pictured:

15" from the wastegate flange to the turbine flange, this is the maximum length.

5 3/4" is the max height not including the flange, including the bottom of the engine flange its 7 1/4" tall. It protrudes 7" from the engine to wastegate flange, and 7 1/2" to the turbine flange.

L W

15" x 7.5" basically.

If any of this is confusing please post.

The FC unit wil be an addition 3" in width from the engine to the turbine housing flange and the w/g flange will be an addition 1'"or 2" out. We have yet to fab the FC unit up, but we are working on it.

Hopefully this will allow me to fit my 1.32 housing. If it does, I'm heavily considering this unit, especially WITH the guarantee.

Please keep us informed on the progress for the FC units...

I doubt you have access to a 13b-RE FB, so would it be a problem to release the measurements of the manifold? That way I could get some idea where this would put my turbo in the engine bay...

Did you guys use CAD to draw this or just basically freehand it to get a reference?

This manifold won't work well with a FB. It places the turbo too far forward. FC's and FD's need the turbo farther forward than FB's

Which turbos will mate up to this? I am considering a GT-35R (not 35/40) for my FD. I don't like how the 35/40 sits so far forward. I would prefer clearance, tucked in close and rearward but at least some vibration space.

they do look like the same thing, I guess materials and gauge would make the difference

Chances are it will. We won't know for sure until it is finished.
