That is one pretty, expensive manifold.

I would like to get the dimensions in the event that my home-made mani takes a dive. Since my car is an FB, the dimensions will help me figure out if it will all fit!

Are you making these manifolds or farming them out. If they are being farmed out or made by someone other than yourself please say so. It will make a big difference in getting any problems straight if there is a problem with these, not saying that there would be. Just a "what if" The reason I suspect that you are not making them yourself is the cars in the picture all have Arizone tags and you are in Minnesota last I heard. I just want to understand exactly who is making the manifolds and who is doing the welding, fabrictang, Xray test that you say will be performed etc?

he moved/going to school in Arizona

Kooks welded a bracket for Jim's manifold to bolt up somewhere on the engine for support, dont know why no one else just doesnt weld a bracket to support the weight of the turbo?

That would explain the AZ tags. I still would like to know if he is doing the work in house.

Have you guys ran one of these manifolds on a car yet to test it out? I ask because sometimes bracing is the cause of a manifold cracking apart. When the tubing expands faster than the brace you'll get a crack where the brace is attached to the tubing.

BTW, you're a lucky SOB to work in a shop like that...

There are only so many ways to make an exhaust manifold, but I guarante you these are nothing like the cheap ebay units. I have never even seen one of those cheap ebay units outside of the internet.

So you mean to tell us that you've never even seen the ebay manifolds outside of the internet...but yours just so happens to look exactly like it. I mean exact to a T, to the OBX manifold. Those braces that "YOU" put on there are the exact same BS braces that the obx and ssautochrome mani has on it...or NO, those are your custom job braces? Come on man. There are only so many ways to make a manifold....are you kidding? Yours is identical...it even uses the same diamond shape ss inserts where the 2 wastegate runners meet and join into one runner. The only difference that I have noticed between the 2 is that it is completely flush between the flange and the runners...so either you took theirs, rewelded inside, then ground flush, or made your own...but anyone who believes that this creation came off the top of your head and isn't an exact copy smokes crack. I'm willing to bet that the measurements will come out to be exactly the same...are they not?

These were actually made a longtime before the obx came out. These are made in the shop, and yes I have never EVER seen an an internet manifold outside of a pair of Hks manifolds.

If someone has an OBX unit and wants to ship it to me for a picture comparison I'm more than happy to.
