Mostly just from playing with them... Rutt is the turbo GOD, but he pretty much only hangs out in the Japan section.. He can tell you anything about a turbo... Somday when I'm bored and have time.. (LOL that'll never Happen..) I'll try and put together a Fact page or chart or somthing with diffrent sizes etc of turbos...

hey bacon i don't know where you plan on purchasing the t04s, but if you look on rx7store, it seems the price went up. its about 100 or so less than a t78 and about 300 less than a gt 35/40. i to want a single turbo and don't want to go to small just incase i want more. hook up with vosko and ihor before you purchase and get a ride, (i plan on it when i get cash together and ready to purchase).

I think a 60-1 from turbonetics will run around $1,100 or so, not sure what the to4S's from the other places are running.. the 62-1 used to be around $1,250 or so and is supposed to flow around 10% more air than the to4s/60-1... Those prices were from a couple years ago, so I'm not sure what they run now.. O' and To4E's were around $800 or so also...

Wow, where was I when this thread surfaced?!!!!????

Either way, I once didn't know **** on turbine's. I'm STILL learning a lot from Rutt/Dragon/Igy....my "CAR GODS" if you will. If you asked me the difference between a 60-1 and a T-04S 2 years ago, I would have told you to **** off. Now I have SEEN the differences and READ them as well.

Go with the T-04S...or a 62-1.
