as soon as i can i will get a quote on a single kit....

BUT i think that, for now, i am more inclined to get the stage III twins from bnr, and then try to get a bigger ported motor for the single.....i think that i would not last too long on a single with the small pettit SP motor that i have....

hay all I got off the phone with racerx and wanted to know the price for the greddy td06 sh kit...that is advertised for $2450 even showed the guy the page...and my price with the sponsorship was only $150 cheaper!!!! needless to say I was a little pissed...then I asked for the price for a haltech e6k with flying lead harness...the guy told me $1260 shipped!!! again a little pissed off..I told the guy that dont sound right to me with the sponsorship. and that I can get the thing with harness for around 1145 and that was 5 months ago and now fc3s. is selling them for 1060 or so. the guy told me he was going to check up on things .. if these guys cant compeat with these small places in price then they arnt worth it... I'll call them back monday and talk to them again and tell them whats the point of using your sponsorship if you can bearly beat a good market price...and in the haltech is actuall a few hundred more than whats on the market.. hell you think they would like to save a few bucks if possible.. if 150 is all i'll save on a car that needs lots of custom aftemarket parts they arnt worth using...150 aint **** it this world of car fun. pm me with thoughts or pass them along..

I hope that the prices are gonna be better than what you say.

That sounds kinda pointless like you say to even use the sponsorship.

r explicit, A street port is a street port they are all roughly the same size.

Ray Wilsons ports are npt that large(i have seen them) and he manages to get 643 rwhp out of the engine and a t78. At least he did last season just fine.

If your engine is ported the it should be just fine. Unless of coarse the Pettit port job is almost non-existant.

I dont know much about what pettit does to there "street port" Like I said It should be about the same as any other.

Rambling....

Well what does it say about pricing? Read the fine print. They should have to stand by what the contract states.

One vendor may be not livinng up to his commitment but as long as the contract states that you have 55% discount on parts then you should be fine.

**** take it into a Lawyers office. For $100 they could loo it over and tell you exactly what your getting into.

there is nothing real *clear* about the pricing, OR shipping for that matter. hell, it basically even says that almost all orders are going to be delayed in shipping and may take as much as 4 weeks for a response....again, shady.....not like they first came across when i was first contacted.

i do not know what i will do as of right now, except that i did sign it and sent it to them. wither way, i still plan on going to some shows, and hopefully like i placed at NOPI, i will at some others, and get a better deal next year.....

i am checking into the shows that i want to go to right now, and have now eliminated the daytona spring break nationals, so that i can concentrate on the body of the car. my new c-west knock off bumper should be here in a few days and from there, i am going to have the whole car repainted, eventhough it does not need it....i will go with a darker semi-pearl red/burgundy......and i am going to have all turn lamps shaved, hopefully change the mirrors, shave the antenna, and finally eliminate the rock guard on the lower half of the body and get rid of that rear wiper stud......

i really do not care what comes of this half-assed sponsirship effort, as i will continue to buy things here at the shop for cost, and get what i can't through them at their price....

hope that you all have a decent experience with them, and that hopefully something good comes out of it for yall....

I got my contract in today.....should I sign? I think I might as well since I already paid for it, but I just hope that the deals are better than some people are saying they are. I can't beleive we have to scout people as well, that's retarded. When do we get a list of suppliers to order from? And what is that **** about having to order from them, or giving them the first chance to sell to us, instead of ordering from alternative sources? That is dumb, I will order from whoever I want to. Whoever has the cheapest price will get my money.

the list of their suppliers should have been with the contract on the orange piece of paper with the other ****...you do NOT have to scout....all you have to do is NOT sign it.....BUT just think, for every 40 cars in one month you sign up, YOU GET PAID 10$ EACH, and a BONUS OF 250$ FOR DOING IT IN A MONTH.....oh, and if they do not have the best price, then they do not egt ordered from.....the pattern that i am seeing here is that the higher the cost of the item, the less the discount.....which is directly related to product value/cost of goods.....

I called them again about what I was told on pricing...I talked to eric this time and NOT some dude helping out that section...the kit I asked about retails for 3000 and its up to 50% off retail price.. I did that math on the price they gave me for the turbo kit and it was like 30-31% off retail price...as for how some places are selling it at 2450 I don't know perhaps they are buying it at wholesale and just passing the savings..now the halthch thing...the guy gave me aprice for a complete kit..with all the goods you can get for it...and it wasnt the e6k he was giving me the price for..it was another unit...thats what happens when you go on vacation and let someone fill in that don't know the whole deal...Misunderstandings happen...I'll make sure only to deal with eric...hahah and after I talked to him he actually got them to come down on the kit I asked for by like 50 more...
