I completely agree. I would much rather have $10k for tranny work, motor work, credit card payments, etc... I just don't have $10k worth of **** still to buy outside of wheels and a body kit. I could always buy seats and sll my R1 seats, buy a steering wheel and sell my stock one, etc.. to try and get some cash back. Or just buy stuff from them at 1/2 off and then sell it to other people to try and make some cash off this deal to help pay for my debt. I don't know, I am just going to wait and see what the contract says when it shows up to see if it is worth it or not.

The sticker color choices sucked ***. Orange and Silver, Red and Silver, etc.. ugly colors. We'll see.
Ha Ha. Buy the stuff on the Co-pay and sell it for a profit!! Make sure it is stuff you already have. They'll never know. :bigok:

i just talked to them. this basically really helps the people starting building a car from scratch. for $10k they can get $20k worth of crap. i told the guy. i race my car and spent $6000 in the last month racing the car repairing the tranny, axles, diff, etc, alot of the stuff is RX7 specific parts which they can't even get. i think this would be pretty useless to me unless i want to buy stuff and sell it using the $10k copay. but then you need its more work. i'll decide tomorrow......

Go figure, everyone has been accepted that I know of. Smells like a scam to me for $80. And all we get is this lousy T-shirt. I better frame the shirt, I don't want to get my $80 shirt dirty.

OMG think about it EVERY parts place could start a business doing this!

you make someone pay $100 *FEES* then you get 1000 applications 1000x100=100,000 DOLLARS! then all you have to do is give them a discount on the parts you sell and you still make money off the parts. wow that is damn clever!

I am going to do that, buy all the **** I already have and then sell it for real money instead of this co-pay ****. I will try and turn my $10,000 co-pay into $5000 in extra money by using it all. I have well over $20,000 worth of stuff that I can buy for $10000 and sell for $15000, and see how it goes. It will be a good deal for everyone. I can buy a T78 for $1600 and sell it for $3000, I make money and the person that buys it saves money. Sounds like a plan to me. Plus since I alredy have a T78, this way they'll never know. The main thing that gets me is the "up to" part of the conversation, "up to 52%", I don't like that idea. I want to see what all is 52% off and what is 2% off.

If it is a scam though, how did they get large companies like Motorex involved as well as John Sheppard? Why would they risk there reputation by being involved in this if it is a scam like you are talking about? I am going to start a business up tomorrow and sell them a T-shirt and a stikcer for $70, I'll be the cheapest sponsorship around and monopolize the industry.

i tried to post this a while ago, but i think that i accidentally hit the bkspc button.

here we go. i got my tracking number today, and the package *should* arrive BY friday, as per UPS, and, panding no shipment issues or delays. i will let everyone know what i decide and think about this. i was told that i DO not have a co-pay, and that i have the straight 10K allowance, that would make it better for me.....

well, like i said numerous times, i am a SKEPTIC, and well, i guess that it is my fault for getting this thread started, but i guess tha ti started dreaming big......

my scam is like this.....i have a friend with a shop, and I can fabricat receipts.....but only do it for the purpose of dates, to make the products that i have look newer. i can make it look like the 19K that i have invested in my fd in the last 9months was really in the last few weeks.....

i am a good BS'r, as you all can tell i like to talk, and that is why i go around in circles when i post....i like to include all the info i can...
