Im sitting in a city called suisun right outside san fran. And i just had the pleasure to meet 13bace. And in the process of that i bought a t-76 from him! So im that much closer to finishing my project .. muahaha

That is way too big for just 500rwhp. A T78 is good for 500rwhp....that thing is monsterous. Wonder what the lag will be like?

lol ... i was about to make a comment about that... but you beat me to it.



As for the lag, the nice extra about microtech i guess is that it has a feature to control nitrous to a certain boost. So im gonna use a 50 shot to get the thing boosted. So the lag wont get me too bad :-D

Why would you take a 1000 hp turbo and only use it to make 500? It's a wast and you could make 500 much easier with a much much much better power band with many other turbo's.. You do know that the T76 is basicly a non ball bearing T51R SPL right.. It has the same compressor wheel... I'm also assuming it is a Q-trim and looks to have at least a A/R 1.0 or bigger exaust housing so your going to need one hell of a port to get it going so I hope you like driving around every day N/A https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...R#>/unsure.png

That turbo is easily capable of 800+ HP, but it WILL need nitrous to spool decently on a 13B. A 20B would be more ideal, but that's alot of trouble. I won't have the time to mess with it for quite a while, AND I still have all kinds of turbo stuff to do many more simple projects anyway.

You guys ever see a Diesel Turbo. They're used for 18Wheelers, and are about 3 times that big. Pretty cool.
