If you fine tune it on the dyno your going to be pushing it to far on the street, in the dyno you dont really have the wind effect and it doesnt simulate the aero like you will on the hwy. I'd get it fairly close(but still a tad rich) on the dyno then fine tune it on the street.

I got a question about, thats what i've heard too, but how would i turn on the street w/o a wideband o2?[/quote]

you can't do it safely without a wideband.....

To tune on the hwy is great, but before you know it the car is up and around 100mph and that is state trooper problems. but I like the hwy way better then your Dyno.. Vosko today you take a shot at driving in the hwy and ill play with the keyboard...

I used the deserted wharf and datalog the wideband method! I also throw in a couple quick expressway runs for topend tuning!! WOT is easy to tune but tuning the part throttle takes a lot of time!

so how do u guys tune? just try and get the best a/f ratio through the whole rpm range? and what about timing do u guys touch those maps?
