Making intercooler piping..
I know I can make metal piping but I would like to used something that is easier to work with so that I can work out all the bends and stuff, then I will get aluminum pipes and weld them at school..
Would abs Piping work, or will it melt? I plan on getting a Starion Front, mounted intercooler..

you can mock it up using plastic, and it would even run for a little while that way too.
what i did is get a bunch of pipe (straight and u bends). you just cut out enough of the u bend to work and you can tape them together, and take it to be welded. its actually really easy, i had never done anything like that and the stuff that i measured cut and had welded fit great. it was cheap too ($30-40pipe and $30-40 or labor to weld it) super easy

Use ABS, not PVC for the working mockup. But don't use it for too long. My buddy (moremazda on that "other" rotary-centric forum) did this on his 12A carbed turbo project. It'll hold some pressure so you can get around town if you have no other way to get around at all.
Good call. My buddy did it because he needs his car running day in, day out. The plastic piping was to figure out measurements for when he was going to fab the hard piping. Doing it in plastic first let him realize what he needed to refine for the end product.
If you want it to last, do it in metal.
