Dragon went to Hawaii, guess we will have to wait to see the hard dyno numbers! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/angry.png

It looks like it was the front bearing that seized up and spun and then ate it's self due to all the nice brassy bearing material in the oil pan.. Looks like glitter and lots of it.. It only put down 447 to the wheels, but she was eating 600 hp worth of fuel so we've come to the conclusion it was loosing a **** load of power from that bearing binding up and coming apart.. Also another customer of mine dynoed his car with a very similar port to mine, but slightly smaller exhaust port with a To4s a/r .96 undivided rear housing boosting 1.1kgcm (16.5 psi) and pulled 470 at the wheels running the same a/f ratio I'm running with a lot less fuel..

lol.. She was starting to feel a little slow recently.. I think I'll do a tad over 150 miles on my next engine break in... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/boink.gif

I'm actually contemplating putting her down for a month or 2 and trying to get the rest of the stuff I need to put the 20B in the car... decisions, decisions... https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...1047683561.gif

Dragon,

Things are getting better. Had a few hours to play this afternoon.

Injector Overlap, 14, 14, 9 helped my light throttle condition a bit, I also tweaked the values of Accelerate Injector (mS), down to 4 from the 6 - 8 values I had existing, seemed to help out the on throttle condition. No longer jerky, but still sounds like it is *coughing* at 5% throttle and less.

Played with the Sec transition, moved it from 1.5 to .5, then up to 1.0, 1.0 seems to be the smoothest for me.

All in all, getting much better on the light throttle jerkiness, it's no longer jerky, I think some more time tomorrow and it will be smooth enough to be acceptable.

All conditions of throttle > 25% feel great.

I'll play a bit tomorrow and post any remaining quesitons I might come up with, thanks for the help, I'm definately going in the right direction!

Hey man did you ever move down to DC?

Dragon 06-14-2003 01:15 AM

Hey, also turn off your O2 F/B control setting... this may help get rid of most of the problems you still have if you haven't already turned it off that is..

Means allot of gas getting ingested, quickly.

It's Dragon's settings and where they go.
