ok i got it, man its clean, I measured the wheel it measure 3 inches, what else do i need to measure or look at find out about it? the whole thing has a diameter of about 6inches and the oulet of the intake side is 2inches. I also posted about my motor in the 2nd gen section, man its sweet too!!!

take the compressor housing and measing the exducer. That's the bottom of the wheel. It will measure either 2.122", 2.180", 2.298", or 2.324". From there we can tell you if it's a t-04E or t-04S front.

So i should measure the wheel on the hotside right? the bottome of it. Damn now i gotta wait till i get out of school today.

??? You lost me there. Not the hotside, but the bottom of the compressor wheel. You'll need to take off the compressor housing to do this an expose the wheel and the backplate. The part of the wheel that sits flush with the backplate is what you will be measuring. The hotside should be a stock TII exhaust wheel.

You got even more lucky since that has the right turbine housing for your S5 engine.

we got the compressor housing off, but how do u measure the bottom of a the wheel? Its a circle there is no bottom? do u mean the diameter of the wheel? We just put it back together too, damn cuz we figured that it might be a different part. Another question; how can we tell if the wastegate is ported? We took off the backplate piece and we could see it but, we don't know what we are looking for....
