Just as a 'guide" what RWHP do you guys think I will make at 18 , 23 and 28 psi respectively with my setup ?. For those who don't know , I am running a half bridged 13B rew with internal mods to support upwards of 10K RPM , E6K , 6000cc's worth of fuel injectors , twin bosch '044 pumps , twin MSD 6a's on the leading plugs , custom mounted large NPR FMIC with 3" piping ,twin Tial 35mm wastegates , custom fully divided exh. manifold , garret TA 45 turbo ( 76mm comp. & 68 mm turbine wheel in a 1.22 a/r divided turb. housing) , custom 3.5" exhaust sustem , twin nozzle / pump aquamist Wi system , twin OS clutch , turbosmart e boost and other important driveline stuff. I am hoping to make over 450whp by 12 psi !! , am I nuts ?? , let me know your thaughts. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

Depending on the tuning you should see 600 easy....

I did not get to do any tuning since the MOTHER F*%$#n gearbox (tranny ) **** itself on friday night !!!!. When in first gear the shifter keeps "jumpin" out and the gears grind very loudly and 5th doesnt engage when I put it in .
I know that tuning is done in third gear , but I am worried about putting too much power on it before I get a replacement. Any one had and fixed this problem before ?. |

it should be isolated to each gear, but the broken bits might get jammed in there and do more damage to other things |
Do you have the tranny braces and diff braces?

That is one hell of a sick setup. What's 600 hp in a RX-7 good for in the 1/4? If you hook up and all i think that would put you into the 9's.
|
Any updates yet? Now that we are all dieing with anticipation for the dyno sheets!!!! https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...IR#>/smile.png I hope you got your tranny problems worked out bro. Let us know what the status of the killer FD is when you get the chance.

Well I got another tranny and I'll be putting it in next week (when I get off work) , hope this one holds out for a while.

I have another problem too , the e boost controller cant properly control two external wastegates , my boost spikes a lot . After I bought it and read the instructions it said that I would need their twin solenoid kit for use with two waste gates and the guy I bought it from said that they (turbosmart) wont sell it separate .!!! What da HELL am I supposed to do with it now , I will have to call them up and give them a piece oh my mind !!. |
600 whp on an FD should put you in the 9's if you're a good driver (full interior too).
Sounds like you should of purchased the HKS racing wastegate instead. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub..._DIR#>/sad.png |
D- give us some feedback asap. I was thinking of running a similar setup in my deceased Fd. https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...O_DIR#>/11.gif https://www.nopistons.com/forums/pub...#>/biggrin.png

not really much you can rip out of a FD fto save weight. If you get a titanium exhuast i hear that is about the best way to save weight. Next is a carbon fiber hatch, remove AC PS and emissons, carbon fiber drive shaft, and leight weight flywheel. I dont know if there is much more that matters.
|
I changed the busted box this week , the new one is nice and tight !! , just waiting on the dealer to get the twin solenoid equipped controller so that I can swap mine for it and I,ll be ready to go (once again).
|
Did you get your new boost controller yet? I can't wait to see what kind of numbers you put down at 20+psi! I'm sure I'm not the only one who is eager to see the results either. Make sure you keep us updated as to what's going on with your FD bro. Good luck at the dyno.
