How Much Ignition Advance?
#41
hello!
I'm running a newbuild 13b rew,full bridgeported greddyt78 powered.
using power fc, with good fuel and ignition support.
just went on the dynopack today but when we was getting in to some good boost (16-17psi) my clutch slipped, so my singelplate heavy duty clutch need to go. but just a few questions:
we never got to begin on the real timing adjustments, where shooting for 20psi, but never got there but how much advance is ok on those boostlevels? rwhp range i dont know, passed 400rwhp today, but thats to low.. 15btdc at 8000rpm @ 1.2bar today.. is that low? and for 20psi? running between 11.3-11.5 airfuel ratio.. using 98octane (93ron?) and no water..
have nice, low intake temps.
and next question, what kind of rpm limit should i get in to? with nice core with nrs ceramic seals and the bridge it seams very nice at 8500, but i dont know where i should set the limit.
thanks!
Stig
