Ok... What is the difference in the Racing wastegate flange and the standard? All the pictures I see of the standard looks like it has the same rectangular flange...

Reason I ask is my manifold has the "HKS Race wastegate flange"...

Thanks!

If yyu look at the HKS website it shows the standard as a Two bolt oval flange.Theres a big difference. That why I want the racing gate so I don't bring out my torch and wreck a nice finish like that.

Ah... I see. Are there any other wastegates that have the Rectangle?

I saw a few on Ebay... HKS ones... In the pics they had the rectangle... Some were kinda cheap too...

First off, HKS "Standard" and "Racing" WG's have the SAME bolt pattern with the base flange being rectangular. The differences between the two are the size valve 40mm vs 50mm. The HKS "Racing SS" WG has a square bolt pattern with a base flange that has a SS flange seat.

Those are HKS racing as well, but they're off of "kits"...the prebuilt HKS turbo kits they sell.

The older versions of the racing and standard racing use the rectangular flange, The newer versions use the square flanges and the new new ones like the GT and GT II wastgates use a V-Band.. If you look around you can still find the rectagular ones and they still work great.
