How much power could this kit make with a street ported S5 engine? Anyone here have one?

That's not too shabby, although the price is too damn high. I guess I'd end up piecing together something similar if I don't go with a hybrid.

Oh...I have to get promoted first...lol.

Have you seen that kit? It's put together well, but the turbo is tiny. It has a very small .81 A/R turbine. I'd say about 350 HP at the flywheel max, maybe slightly more with good tuning, etc.

An HKS manifold and wastegate will cost you about $600. The downpipe, oil lines, etc. shouldn't run more than $300. That leaves quite a bit for the turbo.

So those parts and a T04 from cheapturbo.com would be a good way to go, right?

The HKS turbo isn't much bigger than the stock turbo. You MAY be able to get close at very high boost levels, but nothing "normal."

Actually you can get the T04E 57Twith a A/R of 0.84 from HKS which is the same that is offered on the FD kit.

I think you can hit 400hp pretty easily with this turbo kit, but you would need some engine work of course. On a stock engine I wouldnt say much if any over 350hp
