I hear you...I believe the guy who posted that stuff about his falling flat didn't really know what he was talking about IMHO. I didn't have any problems with 20psi on my engine. It's a V-band discharge and once I had a work around for that and had a tight seal, I was fine. I asked how he had it connected and never had a reply. In the end, I don't think it was a 4082 issue. None the less, it may not flow enough air for over 400rwhp without premature failure even though we both had numbers higher than that. Maybe we were overspinning them. Anyway, I'm sure I'll have a report once the new turbo is together, on the new engine, and everything is broken in. In about six months! Good luck with your setup.

well when I tried to order the GT I asked for the bigger wheel and they said they werent making that combo any more...I didnt know any better. So you and I get this and then I start seeing others getting a little flat at 17lbs. **** that I want 20. So I got the TO4R.

The coating I dont know about temps and your are correct. If nothing else maaybe it will slow the oxidation.

Turbine housing is 1.00 divided to match the manifold.

Best of luck with yours. As a matter of fact I have the flange and 5 inch band for that turbo if you know anyone who is getting one. Keep me posted on your stuff.
