Gt40 Or Gt42

I'm at the stage now where I'd have to select a turbo for my 20b FD. Do you guys know if a gt42 will fit in an FD? I think gt40 will fit, but I'm not sure about gt42. Thanks.

Get the GT42 BB with the big compressor wheel.



It will fit.

seriously, the gt42 has a 5 inch outlet for a downpipe. I can't fathom the need for a downpipe that big. I like it's flow, but damn.......

I don't want to trim the shock tower....though it won't be the only thing that's been cut.

So use a 4" downpipe.

Just use a smaller Dp as Tyson suggested. Any more pixs of your setup?

Flow it out....do the math. That is the only way to find out short of trial and error.
