Thumbs up

Does Garrett make them or do the vendors assemble them?

Vendors assemble the kits....we have them, but the turbos are bought separately directly from Garrett, the wastegates are also bought separately, and then everything else such as the lines, manifold, bolts,etc...are fabricated.

Our kits used to be SS, but stainless steel is actually weaker then the 3.8mm mild steel we use now. Our kits are ceramic coated 3.8mm mild steel that has yet to break on the dyno. SS kits begin having stress fractures and cracks on the manifold during high pressure or long periods of use....

But when the coatings come off, won't they rust?

We haven't had the coating come off yet...at least nobody has complained about that yet. We can do SS manifolds, it's just that when we have to worry about warranty work, it seems that more SS manifolds came back then the MS ones...when dyno testing the SS manifold cracked and the MS manifold didn't...it's all preference I guess. personally, I'm going with MS.
