Hey guys im new to this forum and i wanted to kow if the CT26 out of the Supra is a good choice for my 87 RX7. I purchased a 13bre engine and i want to convert to single turbo.I am looking to make about 250hp-300hp with a N333 ecu and a FMIC..This is going to be my daily driver so i realy dont want anything spectacuular, just something that makes me grin when i hit the gas..If this turbo is not a good choice at all then why..Thanks for all the help in advanced..............................Josh

A single of any sorts will not work with any oem ecu. Its been like 6 years since I've seen a Ct26, but I think that has a larger t3 turbine/footprint? Chances are its way to small. Just get a full Garrett To4 off ebay if you're broke..

Ok,I understand that i cant have the twins to work sequentially with that ecu, thats why i wanted to go single turbo..Well how about i mod the twins on the RE to work non-sequentialy (the right way) not the "poor mans" way..Wont the N333 run that motor like it was a T2? If yes, then what kind of horsepower will i be looking at?I am going to take the twins off in about 1 hour and begin the w/g porting and the mod to the twins..I talked to Chris at Bonzai Racing and he said i could use that ecu..He was trying to get me to go the Power FC way but i just cant afford it right now, maybe down the road..I couldnt pound him with to many questions because he was extremely busy at the moment...If the twins modded that way, will i have to get a T2 engine harness? And what about the AFM,and other things that i may not know about,etc..Thanks for the help....Hey Revvin7 do you have a instant messenger name i could get ahold of you on sometime?Myspace,Yahoo or AIM???

Problem with that is the cfm between a stock t2 turbo, and re twins is quite different. The ecu won't recognize the difference in turbo setups. I have never used that combination you speak of, I always do an ecu upgrade prior to other mods. I'm never on an messenger service, you can pm me though.
