Hey,



Don't post much here. but i found more info on the to4r i should receive hopefully any day now (been ordered for like two months.. backorder it seems) then anywhere else.



I was building my own manifold copied from an hks unit. I was going to use 9mm stainless steel flanges.



What do you guys think of this thickness? too thin? I only found this thickness here in 321 ssteel.

It's a little on the thin side but it should be ok. I use 7/16"(a little over 11mm)

so you reckon that i should do a doubler plate? I can find thinner, just not thicker. Will it be a good idea to tig weld the plates together? say have them up to 15mm? or should a just put a gasket in between?

well should i Tig the plates or just leave the gasketed and bolted?

9mm will be ok but you will have to face it after welding.

i see... so i tig weld the faces and then face them! ok... thanks for the support!! i will post pics of the finished manifold soon....



when i get my to4r from dr autosports. it should be in the mail
