hey just wondering what turbo you guys think has the fastest spool... cash no factor

 

BB 50 trim To4E, its not a turbo thats going to produce a ton of power however.



A Full 4" exhaust with a nice tubular manifold will make more of a difference than any special turbo will.

If you're engine, and or engine/tune are a dog your turbo will be also.

 

I'm no expert here, but I am in the middle of Maximum Boost by Corky Bell. He stresses early on that a turbo that produces boost early is going to be a severe bottleneck on the top end. As with all things, you've really got to decide what it is you want. If you want usable boost early, then you will sacrifice big power on the top end. If you want max power on the top end, you will have to wait for it.

 

well the reason i want a fast spool and dont really care about top horsepower is becuase i just spent 8000 bucks and sent my motor away to get rebuilt with a bridgeport and 3mm seals balancing, race clearance and polished rotors and all those other goodies so i dont want an incredable amount of boost or im going to start breaking parts... tranny, diff and all that other **** so i thought i would try and get a bit more lower end power

 

do you know if they make a full kit for the fd3s for that BB 50 trim To4E it sounds like turbo in the lines of what im wanting
